THE PATIENT PROCESS
Care begins with a comprehensive review of your medical history, lab results, and nutritional needs. Our clinical pharmacists and registered dietitians collaborate with your doctor to design a personalized TPN formula tailored to your condition.
A trained infusion nurse will oversee the care of your catheter at home. In order to allow for safe, long-term TPN administration, you’ll receive hands-on education on catheter care, pump use, and infection prevention to ensure confidence and safety at home.
Your customized TPN formula is compounded by our specialty pharmacy team and delivered directly to your home with discreet, temperature-controlled overnight shipping. TPN should be stored in the refrigerator and removed 2–3 hours before infusion to reach room temperature.
Our infusion nurses and pharmacists remain available 24/7 to answer questions, troubleshoot infusion pump issues, and monitor your progress. We review labs regularly and adjust your TPN formulation as needed to support long-term health and reduce complications.
