THE PATIENT PROCESS
Typically, care providers identify when someone will benefit from infusion treatment. However, patients can initiate the conversation by asking the provider if there are any infusion or injectable therapies that may help manage or improve their condition.
After discussing treatment options with the patient, the care provider will prescribe a medication and submit the order to our pharmacy.
At this point, our pharmacists will collaborate with the patient’s physician. We validate the patient’s details, confirm their benefits, and secure the necessary insurance authorization for the prescribed medication.
We will initiate the reach out to the patient, working with them to schedule an appointment at one of our Washington infusion center locations or at home.
Before treatment takes place, one of our nurses will educate the patient and answer any questions. Then, they will administer infusions, draw labs, and care for the patient while treatment is ongoing.
