Rowena Birnel, RPh
Infusion Solutions is owned and operated by Rowena Birnel, a 1988 graduate of University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Rowena’s pharmacy career includes seven years as an investigational drug coordinator and ambulatory care pharmacist at the Seattle VA Medical Center. She has 15 years experience working in the home infusion industry for two national home infusion providers.
Rowena is proud to be a part of a highly motivated and talented team of professionals whose focus is quality and personalized patient care. She is excited about the opportunity to provide the community a local and accommodating option for home infusion care.
Raised in Bellingham, Rowena enjoys an active northwest lifestyle with her husband and three sons. Her pastimes include spending time with her family, her pets, racquetball, playing and coaching soccer, hiking, boating, baking and reading.
Rowena is a board member of two non-profit organizations, the Meridian Youth Soccer Club and the Washington State Junior Racquetball Board.

Abby Ferreira, PharmD, RPh is a clinical pharmacist responsible for monitoring patient therapy, ensuring the quality and accuracy of medications, and collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care.
Abby has been working in the pharmacy field since 2002. She received her Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2008 from University of Iowa. Abby moved to Bellingham in 2008 to work at a locally owned community pharmacy as a retail and compounding pharmacist. After a few years in the retail setting, she decided to move on to a clinical position at Infusion Solutions, where she could provide more direct patient care. Abby recently completed the Home Infusion Pharmacy Certificate program through the National Home Infusion Association. She spends her free time hiking, skiing, and kayaking with her husband and two dogs. She is thrilled to be a part of a locally owned and operated pharmacy, where patients can know and trust their healthcare providers.

Barb Bonkoski is a pharmacy technician at Infusion Solutions. She is a graduate of the Eaton Technical Institute, has been a Pharamacy Tech A since 1997, and has worked in home infusion care for over 7 years.
When not at work, Barb enjoys camping, fishing, golfing, riding dune buggys, and barbeques with friends and family. She also has three dogs that like to tag along, and is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan!
Mary is the Reimbursement Manager for Infusion Solutions. Her primary responsibility is to ensure that each and every patient is given the correct financial information up front and to alleviate any of their worries on the financial end.
Mary came to us with 2 ½ years experience, specializing in infusion reimbursement billing and intake. Prior to that, she was an accounting manager for 7 years and a retail manager for 21 years.
Mary resides in Bellingham, WA with her husband and daughter who is attending college. She also has 2 sons who reside in Wisconsin. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, cooking, watching football, basketball and shooting pool. Mary is extremely proud to be a part of our team here at Infusion Solutions.

Ian McDole is a Reimbursement Specialist at Infusion Solutions. Ian is originally from Eastern Washington. He moved to Bellingham to study at Western Washington University, where he graduated in 2003. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors by backpacking, cycling, and sailing. He loves music of all kinds.
Chuck Loos is our Account Manager and Community Liaison at Infusion Solutions. Chuck graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy. After a couple of bountiful seasons at a Colorado ski resort, he taught high school biology for seven years, and then transitioned into pharmaceutical sales with GlaxoSmithKline. He worked with GSK for the six years, specializing in cardiovascular, diabetic, and urologic disease states.
He is now excited to be working for a small, locally owned company that excels at providing safe, professional, and cost effective solutions for managing patient needs. Outside of work he enjoys playing music (check out BandZandt next time you are able!), the entire spectrum of outdoor activities, and spending quality time with his family.
